CSV export format just added

A lot of Trint users pick out key themes or moments in the Editor and then pack them up into spreadsheets or qualitative analysis tools (Nvivo, MaxQDA, Treejack) for deeper dives.

To make this kind of workflow easier, we made it possible to export in CSV format. You can export from the ‘Your Trints’ page (in bulk, too!) or direct from the Editor:

Before downloading, you can choose exporting highlights or comments from the Trint.

Choosing highlights will populate the following in the CSV:

  • Highlight colour

  • The words highlighted

  • In and out time codes

  • Duration

  • Speaker

Choosing comments will populate the following in the CSV:

  • The comment itself

  • User who commented, and any other comments over the same chunk of text

  • The text associated with the comment

  • If the comment is resolved or open

  • In and out time codes

  • Duration

Give it a shot and let us know how you do - we’re always here for questions.
